WHITLEY LECTURE (INTERACTIVE WEBINAR)
No one likes change. It is often scary, filled with uncertainty, and is sometimes painful. We are all facing changes to both our personal and professional lives. In addition, fundraisers have many considerations that are impacted by change: How will your donors, staff, volunteers and board be affected? How do you continue to fulfill your mission? It seems inevitable that the impacts of COVID-19 will continue for some time so how do we adapt to, or manage, those things that are beyond our control?
At the AFP-NJ Whitley Lecture, Alice Ferris, ACFRE, CFRE, MBA and Jim Anderson, CFRE of GoalBusters Consulting will guide us on how to approach these new challenges. GoalBusters is an internationally renowned consulting group whose passion is to work with growth-minded organizations in their commitment to making the world a better place.
Using real-world examples, Alice and Jim will provide insights into:
• Stages of organizational change
• Ways that humans process change
• Personality archetypes we all encounter
• How to encourage a growth mindset in yourself and your organization
• Strategies to help your team navigate turbulent times
AFP-NJ invites you to listen, learn, react, chat, ask questions, and share your frustrations about change. Skillfully guided by Alice and Jim, this informative two-hour virtual workshop will help prepare you for what may lie ahead.
Who should attend?
This is a general interest session and will serve everyone from your newest team members and nonprofit board members to the most seasoned fundraising professionals.
