AFP-NM January 2021 Meeting: Virtual Engagement & Accessibility

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, organizations have been grappling with the transition from hosting in-person meetings, trainings and events, to providing the same events virtually. Whether we are meeting with internal members of our organizations or the larger community, strategically considering engagement and accessibility is critical in ensuring full inclusion of all audiences. In this workshop, participants will learn best practices for making virtual settings more accessible for a diversity of audiences, as well as strategies for providing meaningful and engaging space for those diverse audiences to learn and connect.
