Thursday, June 20th starting at 12:00pm MST
Via Zoom - Link will be emailed the day before the meeting

About the sessions:
Vicarious trauma is the process of change that happens because you care about other people who have been hurt and feel committed or responsible to help them.
Over time this process can lead to changes in your psychological, physical, and spiritual well-being.This presentation will cover broad concepts and suggestions for creating a personalized plan to replenish.

About the Presenter:
Jade Richardson Bock, a certified Grief Educator, has worked in the grief and loss community since 2003. In 2013 she created Camp Corazon, a program designed to serve bereaved youth in rural New Mexico, provided annually in locations across the state. In 2014 she co-authored Parenting Through Grief with Dr. Craig Pierce; a guide to grieving a significant loss while raising young people who are also grieving. In 2019 she founded, a collection of resources and expert advice on navigating life after death.

As the executive director of the Grief Center (formerly the Children’s Grief Center of NM) for over a decade, Ms. Bock has spent hundreds of hours facilitating grief support groups with children, teens, young adults, and their adult caregivers.

In 2022, under her leadership, the Center for Hope and Healing opened. This welcoming facility is centrally located in Albuquerque, on Carlisle, between Comanche and Montgomery, and is designed to be a space to provide hope and healing for all who grieve, and the professionals who serve them.
