I have worked since 2018 at El Refugio, which supports immigrants and asylum seekers at Stewart Detention Center—a large immigration detention center run by corporation— and their loved ones.
I serve on two nonprofit boards and am the founder of a small mutual aid effort, the Invisible Food Pantry, which gives $100 grocery store gift cards to college students coping with food insecurity.
