Matt Seubert currently serves as the Associate Executive Director of Communication,
Development and Advocacy at AccessCNY. He joined the agency in 2012 as the
Development Director. AccessCNY was formed in January of 2016 as the result of the
merger of Enable and Transitional Living Services (TLS). Today AccessCNY serves over
3,300 individuals with disabilities
Matt oversees all aspects of fundraising, communication and advocacy for AccessCNY,
including: marketing, grant writing, donor solicitations, estate planning, planned and major
giving, special projects and event management. Fundraising for AccessCNY helps provide
services to individuals with disabilities or a mental health diagnosis.
Matt is a Central New York native having graduated from SUNY Oswego with degrees in
communication, focused in broadcasting and in political science, with a concentrate in public
policy and administration. Matt started his professional career at WRVO public radio, a
National Public Radio (NPR) affiliate, where over fifteen years he served in various positions
from on-air host to Assistant General Manager for Development. Matt helped lead the
station to record amounts of listener and community support in his time with the station.
In addition to his professional work Matt serves as a board member for several community
organizations, including Oswego Buc Boosters; the Children’s Center of SUNY Oswego and
the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Central New York, where he currently
serves as Treasurer.
