Program Description: Come and join AFP Hudson Mohawk's Young Professional Group virtually to connect and meet with other young professional fundraisers in the New York Capital Region. This month will be a conversation with Amanda Goyer of KeyBank. Amanda will be chatting about partnering with corporate partners, COVID-19 funding, social justice and racial equity funding, and common questions and themes she is seeing in our local nonprofit community. 

 

About this group: The Association of Fundraising Professionals, Hudson Mohawk Chapter created this group to help young professional fundraisers in the Capital Region build their network and gain resources. Presenter Bio: Amanda Goyer is Corporate Responsibility Officer for KeyBank in the Capital Region and Central New York. She is responsible for the implementation of KeyBank’s Community Benefits Plan, covering the areas of mortgage lending, small business lending, community development lending and transformative philanthropy. 

 

As a strategic relationship builder, Goyer works to represent the heart of KeyBank’s brand by connecting business and philanthropic resources with the communities that need them most in an effort to create sustainable change.

 

Goyer is actively involved in KeyBank’s Key4Women initiative and dynamic Young Professionals group. She is also an active community member and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Capital District Women’s Employment & Resource Center (WERC) where she delivers on her passion for elevating women in transition and women in business. In addition, Amanda is the Immediate Past Chair of the Capital Region Chamber Women’s Business Council, a mentor through the Capital Region Chamber Young Professionals Network and a Champion Member for Northern Rivers Behavioral Health Center.

 

Goyer earned her bachelor’s degree from Stonehill College in Easton, Mass. A proud Capital Region native, she lives in West Sand Lake with her husband Chris and their sons, Roen and Noah
