Date: August 27, 2020

Time: 4 PM to 6 PM

Location: Zoom Meeting
Meeting link will be sent to registrants the week of the event.

This 2-hour virtual networking session is for people of color who fundraise for a nonprofit organization, are looking to become a fundraiser, or solicit funds on behalf of a mission-related organization in the Capital Region. The program will share insights and experiences from leaders of color in the community and tools and resources on how to be successful.

Join us for a frank conversation about our lived experiences as people of color who spend a great deal of our time pursuing contributions from white high-net-worth individuals or grants from white-led institutions.  A career in nonprofits and fundraising is not for the faint of heart. We are committed to our missions, dedicated to securing contributed revenue for our organizations, and invested in our professional development.

This workshop is for:
Any nonprofit professional who identifies as Black, Indigenous, or a person of color and works in the Capital Region of New York. We also welcome those interested in becoming a fundraiser or who are serving in a volunteer capacity soliciting funds for a local organization or group.
We kindly ask our non-BIPOC allies to respect this space and not join us for this program.
