Keynote Speaker:

Lindsay (Swooping Hawk) Kretschmer - Executive Director, Toronto Aboriginal Support Services Council

Lindsay (Swooping Hawk) Kretschmer is German, and Mohawk and she was born and raised in Toronto and her family and ancestral connections are to Six Nations and Mississaugas of the Credit. She has worked in the non-profit sector for over 20 years.

She currently serves as the Executive Director for an Indigenous non-profit and she consults in the areas of training, facilitation, funding development and strategy planning. Lindsay has served on boards and in senior management roles locally, provincially and nationally. Lindsay has done work in grant inclusion; policy and advocacy and has been directly responsible for fundraising and fund management across funding sectors. Lindsay believes in relationship-based funding development and has advocated for funding evolutions that have led to greater Indigenous inclusion and empowerment.

Leah Eustace, ACFRE - President, Blue Canoe Philanthropy

Leah Eustace, ACFRE, is President and Head Paddler at Blue Canoe Philanthropy, where she specializes in fundraising strategy, coaching, case writing and storytelling. She’s also a member of The Case Writers, a small group of writers and designers who work with some of North America’s most impactful nonprofits. Her volunteer work is extensive: she’s a member of the AFP Global Board, and is the Chair of the ACFRE Credentialing Board. Leah is an AFP Master Trainer, a Stability Leader and holds a Certificate in Philanthropic Psychology (Distinction) through the Institute for Sustainable Philanthropy.

Fraser Green - Chief Strategist & Smartypants, Good Works

Through his careers in business, politics and philanthropy, Fraser Green has honed his talent as one of this country’s most passionate and persuasive storytellers.

Fraser is a Principal at Good Works, one of Canada’s leading fundraising consulting agencies. At Good Works, Fraser’s focus is on communications/message strategy, content creation and active donor listening.

Fraser is a gifted writer and a sought-after public speaker. He presents regularly at fundraising conferences in Canada, the USA and Europe. Fraser is the co-author of ‘Iceberg Philanthropy’ and ‘You Can’t Take It With You’ and the author of 3D Philanthropy.

In his spare time, Fraser is passionate about playing his guitars, yin yoga, skiing, cycling, reading biographies and talking way too much.

Cindy Wagman - President & CEO, The Good Partnership

Cindy Wagman is the President and Founder of The Good Partnership, a values-driven, social-justice informed consultancy that is working to unlock the potential of small nonprofits through fundraising. Cindy became a Certified Fundraising Executive in 2009 and received her MBA from the Rotman School at the University of Toronto in 2013. Cindy has presented for AFP (Association of Fundraising Professionals), CanadaHelps, CharityVillage, Bloomerang, Keela, and Fundraising Everywhere. She is the host of the top-rated The Small Nonprofit podcast, and best-selling author of Raise It! The Reluctant Fundraiser’s Guide to Raising Money Without Selling Your Soul. In 2022 Cindy started coaching other nonprofit-serving consultants to help them build impactful and profitable businesses and is the co-host of the Confessions with Jess and Cindy podcast serving that audience.

Brock Warner, CFRE is a recognized leader in the nonprofit sector, specifically in the area of fundraising, and author of the bestselling book, From The Ground Up: Digital Fundraising for Nonprofits.

He brings a growth mindset to every project and opportunity he is involved in, while elevating a culture of collaboration and learning. As a senior leader in the international aid sector and in mental health, Brock has raised millions of dollars, and developed multiple successful campaigns, partnerships and sector innovations.

He is a regular, sought-after presenter throughout North America, and is the professor of Integrated Marketing for Nonprofits at the Humber College Business School’s Fundraising Management postgraduate program in Toronto. His career began developing a strong base of knowledge in direct marketing for nonprofits, and managing campaigns for national education, health, and environmental charities.
