2021 Call for Directors - AFP London & Region - deadline for nomination application - May 31st, 2021
Hello all AFP London & Region Chapter members,
In accordance with our by-laws, please note the following:
- All Chapter Board of Directors shall be members in good standing with the AFP London & Region Chapter and shall maintain such membership during their terms in office. Directors shall serve without compensation.
- Directors shall serve two-year terms (starting July 1, 2021); and, Officers shall serve one-year terms. No elected director may serve more than eight years consecutively on the board in any combination of director categories.
- We encourage you to nominate qualified individuals who have distinguished themselves by advancing our profession and/or our association. You or your chapter may nominate any qualified candidate to serve on the board for a seat as an officer or an at-large director.
- Remember, you may self-nominate, nominate a colleague, or invite your chapter to nominate you or a colleague.
- Those who self-identify as members of diverse communities are strongly encouraged to apply in accordance with AFP's IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, Accessibility) initiative. All nomination forms must be submitted using the nomination form and be submitted to Shannon LaHay, Secretary, at slahay2@gmail.com by May 31st, 2021 @ 6 p.m.
