Join us for an insightful session where we’ll explore the intersection of philanthropy and the economy in 2025, highlighting the latest economic trends and AFP's Fundraising Effectiveness Project (FEP). We'll unpack the impact of the recent Presidential election on local fundraising, examining key challenges such as the decline in small donors, shifting donor retention rates, and evolving foundation and government funding landscapes.
In addition, we’ll delve into the economic factors shaping the philanthropic environment, including Oregon’s lagging job growth, inflationary pressures, and slowing migration patterns. Our presenters will provide actionable strategies to promote financial sustainability, engage donors effectively, and strengthen your fundraising efforts in a year of uncertainty. This session is essential for nonprofit leaders and fundraisers looking to adapt to the challenges in 2025 amidst economic and philanthropic shifts.
