Shaping Smarter Campaigns: Trends, Challenges, and What’s Working

When:  Jun 10, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM (PT)

Program Description

The latest findings from the Fundraising Effectiveness Project continue to raise concern: fundraising dollars are increasingly concentrated among fewer donors. This year marks the fourth consecutive year of donor decline, requiring development professionals to find new ways to respond and plan.

How are these shifts in donor behavior impacting campaigns? And what practical strategies can help mitigate risk and uncertainty?

At Rose City Philanthropy, campaigns are at the core of our work, giving us a front-row seat to evolving trends and a chance to pilot new strategies and test data-driven approaches. In this session, we’ll examine key trends shaping campaign strategy and explore ways to strengthen donor engagement in a changing landscape. We’ll share how we are using donor survey techniques, digital marketing strategies, and campaign simulations to engage donors and leadership in creating campaign success.
