Kathy Wertheim, CFRE, Master Trainer with AFP
Kathy Wertheim teaches people how to ask for money—and get it! A professional fundraiser since 1983, she has helped dozens of organizations raise millions and taught thousands of fundraisers and board members across 24 states. Her consulting work has transformed nonprofits, including tripling revenue and increasing individual donors fivefold at organizations like Bread for the City and Emmaus Services for the Aging.
Kathy has served on 12 nonprofit boards, published widely on fundraising strategy, and is one of only 282 AFP Master Trainers worldwide. She holds the CFRE credential, awarded to top fundraising professionals globally. Based in Ventura, CA, Kathy continues to teach and consult with organizations nationwide.
