Panelist bios

Rick Weberhas been the Development Director for the Children’s Home Foundation, the fundraising arm of Children’s Home Society for about 19 years. Prior to that role, he worked for 15 years in the programs of Children’s Home Society, with most of that time being in their foster care program. Work experiences prior to Children’s Home Society included Sioux Vocational School for the Handicapped (now LifeScape), Southeastern Mental Health Center, and the 2nd Judicial Circuit Court as a Probation Officer. Rick received a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice & Sociology at the University of Sioux Falls, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration at the University of South Dakota and a Master’s Degree in Philanthropy and Development at St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota. Rick’s wife Mary is therapist at Catholic Family Services. They have three adult children, one son-in-law, one daughter-in-law and one grandchild.



Addie Graham-Kramer - Party hats, cocktail glasses and sequin gowns are just a few things that you can find plenty of in this entrepreneur’s home. Life is always a party with Addie Graham-Kramer. Literally. Graham-Kramer is an award-winning event designer that has been internationally recognized for her leadership and work throughout the industry for nearly two decades. Since launching The Event Company in 2013, she and her talented team have designed and planned nearly 300 corporate + non-profit + social events in 16 states across the country. As the premier corporate + non-profit event design company in the region, The Event Company has helped to lead events that have raised more than 8.4 million over the last seven years. Addie is passionate about encouraging other females to be empowered to follow their dreams, just as she has done, and to give all that they can to their community. Because of this, she was recently recognized by her peers in the events industry as one of Connect Magazine’s “40 Under 40.” When she’s not building dreams through events, Addie stays busy playing a superhero alongside husband, Drew and their two boys, William and Calvin.



Kerri DeGraffis currently the Chief Business Development Officer at the Washington Pavilion where she is responsible for overseeing all Development, Marketing and Sales efforts at the organization. Prior to this experience, Kerri served as the Development Director at Feeding South Dakota. She has been featured in 605 Magazine’s “Five Young Leaders to Watch” and nominated for “Tomorrow’s Leader” at the YWCA Tribute to Women event. She is a graduate of Leadership Sioux Falls 25, the YWCA Women’s Leadership Program, a past member of the Homeless Advisory Board, and a current member of the Sioux Falls Woman’s Alliance Board. Kerri enjoys volunteering for a number of community organizations and has been recognized for her volunteer work by the Helpline Center as a Spirit of Volunteerism nominee. Kerri received her undergraduate degree from Augustana University in 2006 and completed her MBA at the University of South Dakota in 2017 where was recognized as the Outstanding Graduate Student of the Year from the Beacom School of Business. She is married to Ryan, and has three young daughters Adelyn (9), Juliet (7), and Lillian (5).



Elijah Bondehas spent the majority of his professional career working in events and development. Born in Sioux Falls, SD, Elijah was brought up to understand the importance of leaving things better than you found them and that mindset sparked his passion for bettering the communities and people he serves. As Marketing and Tourism Coordinator for the city of Vermillion, Elijah crafted and implemented an entire brand strategy to promote and strengthen the town as one of South Dakota’s premier places to study, visit and live. Now, as the Special Events Coordinator for the Avera Foundation, Elijah manages more than 50 annual events including The Avera Race Against Cancer which has provided more than $1 million dollars for cancer patients during his tenure. When not planning events or fundraising on behalf of Avera, Elijah enjoys spending time with his new wife, Kristy, cooking fatty foods and visiting new parts of South Dakota he’s yet to see.
