Wednesday, June 16, 2021

Time: 11:45 am to 1 pm (first 15 minutes is for networking)

Cost:  Free for Chapter Members, $10 for non-members

Presenter: Erica Mirich, Executive Director, Truckee Meadows Tomorrow

Program:  Grant writing entails research to gather community demographics and other key data to make your case for support often sending you to multiple websites and publications to get what you need. Did you know there is a free data resource that brings together a variety of Washoe County data into a one-stop, dynamic website? Truckee Meadows Tomorrow Executive Director Erica Mirich will walk you through the NevadaTomorow.org Community Data Portal that provides a free, easy to use, single digital resource for access to community quality of life data.

Find up-to-date demographic, environmental, economic, educational, health, social determinant and equity data that compares local, state, and national goals and prior values, side by side. Erica will explain how this incredible resource came to be and demonstrate how to navigate the site, look up data and build custom dashboards and reports to support your grant writing and reporting. Don’t miss this opportunity to see this robust website in action that can support your fundraising and overall nonprofit data needs.

Note: Renown Foundation is now asking nonprofit organizations that apply for grant funding to show evidence of using NevadaTomorrow.org to support metrics for outcomes—another reason you don’t want to miss this presentation.

Registration is required.  Register by 5 pm Tuesday, June 15th.  The Zoom login will be emailed to you.  REGISTER NOW
