Job Summary:
We are looking for a Part-Time Fund Development Coordinator to join our team. This role will
focus on raising funding for operating and programming needs, including reserve funds as approved
by the Board of Directors. The coordinator will work to build on current fundraising initiatives and
manage donor relationships, ensuring the development of a comprehensive fund development
plan to meet both operational and capital needs.

 


Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

1. Fundraising Strategy and Goal Implementation (30%)

  • Develop and execute annual fundraising goals, strategies, and initiatives in
    alignment with the organization's mission, objectives and strategic plan.

2. Donor and Partner Development (35%)

  •  Cultivate and establish new partnerships with businesses, churches, and individual
    donors through proactive engagement and relationship-building.
  • Oversee donor platform to build and maintain a strong donor and sponsor list,
    ensuring ongoing engagement and relationship development.

3. Event Sponsorship (35%)

  • Secure sponsorships for CityKidz Regina events, ensuring financial support for the
    organization’s activities and initiatives.
  • Assist in planning and overseeing events.

Education and Experience:

• Sales and fundraising experience are an asset, with training provided for the right candidate.
• Minimum of Grade 10 level of education.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, One-Drive).

 


Occupational Needs:

  • The position requires a minimum of 25 hours of work per week, with occasional weekend
    and evening hours to support events and participate in program activities.
  •  Remote work is permitted, but a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are
    required.
  • The role has the potential to transition into a full-time position based on the success of
    fundraising efforts.

  • Details of work:
  • Part-time, occasional evenings, and weekends with a flexible schedule. $25,000 to $35,000/year depending on experience.
