Is a logo really that important to your organization? You bet it is.

A logo creates that all-important first impression, one that immediately starts telling your story to current or potential stakeholders. A good logo is memorable, simple, and powerful.

Carroll Rogé, a marketing guide with decades of experience, will walk you through the hallmarks of an effective logo and how to follow some basic steps to create one. Even if you currently have a logo, it might be time for a refresh. This informative and entertaining presentation will help you see if your logo is working for you … and what to do if it’s not.

About our Presenter:

Carroll Rogé has three decades of experience in healthcare marketing in East Texas. His career with the East Texas Medical Center Regional Healthcare System provided him with the full spectrum of experience in the field, working at all levels of marketing and promotion. This included branding and image positioning, traditional and digital communication/advertising, and various public relations and media strategies.

As a healthcare marketer, Rogé often found himself helping team members better serve patients and each other through service education and program development. His marketing background and experience in the medical field provided him with a unique perspective to use his communication and promotional skills to improve patient experience.

This led to a new career path last year at CHRISTUS Health, where Rogé currently serves as regional director of patient experience at eight hospitals and nearly 90 clinics throughout northeast Texas. In this role, he is also responsible for improving engagement of more than 5,000 regional team members of CHRISTUS Health.

Rogé holds a master’s of business administration from the University of Texas at Tyler, where he has also served as an adjunct lecturer since 2001. He has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Louisiana Tech University.

Before entering healthcare, Rogé served as advertising director for a chain of sporting goods stores and as a technical writer/marketer for a forensic engineering firm.

Rogé is active in the community and has served on many non-profit boards, including a term as president of Leadership Tyler.
