The AFP Hampton Roads, Virginia Chapter is pleased to host the AFP CFRE Refresher Course. The AFP CFRE Refresher Course offers development professionals an opportunity to review the main components of a complete fundraising program.
This two-day format takes a new approach that asks you to apply fundraising theory, skills, and techniques within the six knowledge domains of the field, based on experience at the three to five year level. The course is a combination of a high-level review, self-exploration of knowledge, and peer exchange of best practices.
The Refresher is NOT a test nor a lecture. It is designed to help refresh the knowledge you already have and to help you identify gaps in your knowledge. You will accomplish this through abbreviated case studies referred to as “caselets.” Participation in the course may assist you in learning or reviewing concepts covered on the CFRE exam, but it is not a preparatory course for the CFRE exam. No sample test questions will be available.

Participants Receive:
* Approximately 16 hours of instruction

* A head start for taking the CFRE Exam
Full participation in the AFP CFRE Refresher Course is applicable for 16 points of CFRE Credit in Category 1.B – Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
