Bio

Julie Harvey's background includes over 25 years of working in the nonprofit sector, consisting of extensive administrative and organizational oversight in youth and family work, fundraising, marketing, and special events.  

Julie has been the Development Manager of the Ventura College Foundation since, 2017, a local nonprofit organization that transforms students’ lives through education by providing innovative and vital resources and financial support.  The Foundation collaborates with Ventura College to enhance human potential, civic engagement, careers, and academic success of students enabling their effective impact and legacy on the college, local workforce, and our community.

Along with running her professional organizing business, SpaceMasters for five years, Julie is a product of Dallas Theological Seminary with whom she earned her Master’s Degree in Christian Education. She was awarded Woman of the Year Congressional Recognition, with twelve Southern California women, by U.S. Congresswoman, Grace Napolitano in 2008 for her pro bono work with the Southern California non-profit, Braswell Rehabilitation Institute for Development of Growth & Educational Services, Inc. (B.R.I.D.G.E.S., Inc.), in Pomona, CA.  Julie resides in Thousand Oaks and spends her free time enjoying the three “D’s”:  the Los Angeles Dodgers, anything Disney related, and her three rescue Dogs: Malibu, Greta, and her three-legged Dachshund, Trey (known as TripodTrey on Facebook and Instagram).
