Carrie E. Prewitt is originally from Texas, but now calls Virginia home. She is the Membership, Development, and Technology Specialist at the American Thyroid Association (ATA). Carrie is responsible for member relationships including: communication, recruitment and retention; and ATA social media outreach. Carrie also interacts with ATA donors which include members, patients, the general public and corporations; and helps the association with patient support. Previously she coordinated Development, Communications, and Volunteer Services for a variety of non-profit organizations focused on direct client services. Carrie is a member of American Association of Medical Society Executives (AAMSE), the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and American Fundraising Professionals (AFP).
