Bio

Corey Jackson is the Managing Partner of Sarah J Consulting, a nonprofit management and fundraising consultant firm in Boxford, MA. Previously Corey served as Executive Director of Citizens Inn, Inc. and has been involved with community related causes since childhood. As Executive Director, Corey grew Citizens Inn from a $1.8M nonprofit serving 25 families to an $8M nonprofit, now merged with Haven from Hunger, serving over 5,000 individuals. Previous roles included managing director of Lynn's Arts After Hours regional theatre, and a 13-year career in Enterprise Software managing teams in Cambridge, India and Japan.

Corey is a past President and DE&I Chair of the Rotary Club of Peabody and serves Rotary at a District Level as Assistant Governor and member of the District Membership Committee. Corey is immediate Past-Chair of the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce where he volunteers on the membership, finance, and executive committees. Corey also serves on the advisory board for Salem State University's Center for Civic Engagement.

Corey grew up in Peabody and visited his grandparents often in the Highlands and Essex Street neighborhoods of Lynn. Corey and his wife Sarah made Lynn home from 2006-2019. Corey now lives in Boxford, MA with Sarah and his two children. He enjoys the performing arts, traveling and cheering on the New England Patriots. Corey graduated from Syracuse University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Information Management and Technology. Corey has completed coursework in Trauma Informed Care, Diversity Equity and Inclusion, Development, Business Acumen and Organizational Health.

Corey has been recognized as Rotarian of the Year, Homebuyer Advocate of the Year from the North Shore Association of Realtors, Partner of the Year from North Shore Elder Services (now AgeSpan) and North Shore Community Development Coalition, and received community awards from the Lynn Chamber and YMCA Metro North. Corey most recently received the Frederick E. Berry Community Service Award from North Shore Community Action Programs, presented by State Senator Joan Lovely and recognized with honors from State Rep. Paul Tucker, and US Congressman Seth Moulton.
