Join AFPSS and Jim Greenfield, ACFRE, FAHP, FAFP, on Friday, April 4th to learn more about the Fundraising Effectiveness Project (FEP) and how data-driven decision-making can enhance fundraising strategies. It will explore how the FEP benchmarks nonprofit organizations' fundraising efforts, providing insights into donor retention, acquisition, and revenue trends. Attendees will learn how leveraging data can optimize donor engagement, improve campaign strategies, and lead to more sustainable fundraising practices. Key topics include the importance of tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), using donor analytics, and employing data to make informed decisions that maximize fundraising outcomes.

About the Speaker:

James M. Greenfield, ACFRE, FAHP, FAFP, was a senior development officer at eight nonprofits between 1962 and 2001 and continues consulting, speaking, teaching, volunteering, and writing in semi-retirement. Jim’s 40-year fundraising career included three Universities and five hospitals on the East and West Coasts of America. He retired from Hoag Memorial Presbyterian Hospital in Newport Beach, California in February 2001 after 14 years as Senior Vice President, Resource Development and Executive Director, Hoag Hospital Foundation where more than $150 million was raised. The author and editor of ten books and more than 40 articles and chapters on fundraising management, he is among the first to tackle measuring fundraising performance for effectiveness and efficiency. He continues to pursue these topics as a member of the AFP Growth in Giving Initiative and Fundraising Effectiveness Project. Jim was honored with the AFP Distinguished Fellow Award in April 2018 at the AFP ICON in New Orleans.

Full participation in "Data-Driven Decision Making in Fundraising" is applicable for 1.5 points in Category 1.B -Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
