In this interactive seminar, Peter Lewis Gabak will help development professionals explore low-cost, high-impact ways to steward major gift donors that take them on a dynamic, personalized journey to deepen their passion for and philanthropic experience with your organization.

Drawing on his 30 years in non-profit leadership and using real-life stories from the trenches, Gabak will cover how he has successfully used the stewardship techniques and donor-centered approach presented in this workshop to grow gift size in an unusually short amount of time.

Gabak is going beyond “story-telling” here: digging into donor histories and offering empowering case studies that use authentic relationship-building techniques to excavate donor’s hidden passions. You’ll leave better understanding the psychological impact that philanthropy has on your donors.

Attendees of this session will learn:
  • What major donors really want from their charities of choice
  • Low-cost and high-impact ways to steward donors on a major gift pathway
  • How to be a better listener for your donors – to hear both what is spoken and unspoken
  • To focus less on the logo-branded tchotchkes and more on authentic relationship-building anchored in mutual respect, passion and a common bond
  • Donor stewardship strategies that you can take back to your home organization and implement the very next day!
This event is sold out. We will be unable to accommodate walk-in guests.
