SESSION DESCRIPTION:
The grant application process begins long before you log-in to the online portal to start your application.
As funding becomes increasingly competitive, quality preparation is essential. This is where foundations can play a key - but often underutilized - role. Foundations are known for being a great source of funding for area non-profits, but their value to organizations goes far beyond the grants they provide. What makes a non-profit organization attractive to a funder? How can your organization get there? Each panelist will talk about the unique ways in which they help non-profits get ready to get the grant – from capacity building and convening to endowment building.

You'll leave this session with a better understanding of how you can work with foundations to make your organization stronger and more likely to get the grant
