Update Regarding 2020 Annual Fundraising and Networking Conference
First off, the leadership team of AFP Western New York would like to give a virtual *hug* to everyone. COVID-19 has without a doubt caused tremendous stress and hardship. Life as we know it has come to a screeching halt for the time being, both personally and professionally. We see you, we hear you, and we are here for you.
Secondly, we regret to share the news that the Professional Development committee has decided to cancel the 2020 Annual Fundraising and Networking Conference, which was set to take place on Wednesday, June 17th. Our hearts are broken as this is one of the highlights of our chapter but given the current pandemic and rapidly-changing executive orders, this decision is in the best interest of attendees, sponsors and exhibitors.
We would like to say THANK YOU to our sponsors, many of whom have supported the conference for years. Your commitment to the advancement of our field is deeply appreciated and does not go unnoticed.
We saw such tremendous success with our 2019 conference and were so excited to provide a day that brought everyone together to continue the great work we do. We look forward to seeing you at next year’s Annual Fundraising and Networking Conference on Wednesday, June 9th, 2021.
