About Brenda C. Reddout, PhD
 

Brenda is a native of central New York. She and her husband, Dr. Jeff Reddout, moved to Winter Haven, Florida from New York in 1993. After moving to Florida, Brenda served on the Polk County School Board for 12 years, was instrumental in establishing the Florence Villa Community Development Corporation in Winter Haven, and was employed as regional director for Catholic Charities of Central Florida for almost eight years.  She is currently executive director of Talbot House Ministries.

She has been actively engaged in the community in many ways: serving as president of READ Polk, a board member of the United Way of Central Florida, member of the Institutional Review Board of Winter Haven Hospital, and various other groups. She has also been a tutor, mentor, and college professor.

The roles she prizes most are wife to Jeff and mother to her daughters, Jordan and Paige.
