What Does Good Stewardship Actually Mean?

A well-stewarded donor will retain a high level of warmth toward an institution and is more likely to give larger or more frequent gifts and to maintain a relationship with an institution for a long time. Investment in stewardship is an important component of a sustainable fundraising activity. Don't miss this luncheon, presented by Kim Strong!

For any business or organization, maintaining and growing income is essential to the bottom line – which in turn helps achieve goals and accomplish objectives. The best way for a nonprofit to do this is with a phenomenal fundraiser, one who is highly motivated, passionate and impressively hardworking.

Kim’s experience is broad. Most recently, Kim was employed at The YMCA of Central Florida serving as Chief Development Officer and Senior Vice President of Philanthropy, Government and Community Affairs.  The YMCA is in close alignment with Kim’s personal and professional priorities in that they focus on Youth Development, Health & Wellness and Social Responsibility.

Strong began working with The YMCA in 2013, but has worked at several organizations in the past 15 years and has raised more than $100 million for the development of health care facilities, programs, research and capital campaigns while dedicating countless hours of personal time to support community initiatives throughout Central Florida.
