Many of the nonprofits in our area depend on the same high-end donors for funding each year. That means many of us are competing for their attention. As one major donor asked recently, “How many ways can we cut the same pie?"

Megan Hawkes has over 20 years of experience working in nonprofit fundraising. Having raised over $100 million in gifts in her career, Megan has worked inside nonprofits in senior development, operating and leadership positions. Megan has served on the board of start up and legacy nonprofits, and currently serves on the board of two area nonprofits, in church leadership, and chairs the City of Lakeland for Affordable Housing Committee. Megan has been a nonprofit consultant for 10 years and is the president of Donor Perspective, a development agency that focuses on bringing a combination of good strategy and smart data to nonprofits in Central Florida.
