Professor John D. Trybus | Georgetown University’s Center for Social Impact Communication
Professor John D. Trybus of Georgetown University is a story scientist on a mission to help change makers around the world create and tell better stories that bring their missions and visions to life. He leads Georgetown University’s Center for Social Impact Communication in Washington, D.C. where he teaches graduate and executive level students to become story strategists. Prior to academia, his work spanned sectors in pursuit of making impact. He served as a strategist at the British Embassy, as a social innovation consultant at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide working with clients like Coca-Cola and Tiffany & Co. and as the personal advisor to Dr. Jane Goodall.
A highly sought after keynote speaker and trainer on the topic of storytelling, he has collaborated with hundreds of groups including the Smithsonian, NPR, United Way, Kresge Foundation, Department of Education and the Knight Foundation among others. Learn more about his work at
