Attendees will gain insights into the latest ethical guidelines and best practices, learn about common ethical dilemmas faced by fundraisers, and discuss strategies to navigate these challenges while upholding the highest standards of integrity. By fostering an environment of ethical awareness and commitment, fundraisers can ensure the long-term success and sustainability of their organizations' missions.
BIOS
Jill Roshto has over 30 years of experience in retail management, corporate sales, business ownership, fundraising and non-profit management. Roshto is the President of Jill Roshto, LLC, a business consulting firm and is currently serving as Executive Director of Louisiana Alliance for Nonprofits. Roshto is a proud double graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, with a BA in English & History and a Master of Business Administration from LSU’s EJ Ourso College of Business.
In her varied career, Ms. Roshto worked in multiple roles at Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry, the LSU Stephenson Entrepreneurship Institute, LSU Foundation and as CEO of Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge and the Pennington Biomedical Research Foundation. Ms. Roshto also owned The Keeping Room, a stationery and gift business.
Ms. Roshto has been very involved in community service, serving on numerous non-profit Boards and as an advisor to the Gamma Zeta Chapter of Delta Gamma at Louisiana State University. Her passions include LSU sports (Geaux Tigers!), reading, exercising, live music, Broadway theater and spending time with friends and family.
Tracy White is a skilled public relations professional with over 15 years of experience in communications. She manages media relations for Cox Communications in Louisiana. In her current role, she also leads the organization's charitable giving program, supporting over 1,200 employees across three markets. With boundless curiosity and a profound love for PR, she has created numerous impactful initiatives,including the Diverse-ability Awards, Social Justice Grants, charitable giving pop-ups, and the Kids Rock the Moment Campaign, to facilitate meaningful community connections. Before joining Cox, she successfully served as a change management facilitator at Albemarle Corporation. She is a 2020 Leadership Baton Rouge alumna and the recipient of multiple leadership awards, including being named the 2022 Public Relations Association of Louisiana's (PRAL) Practitioner of the Year and a Woman of Influence by the Baton Rouge Metropolitan Black Chamber of Commerce.
Besides her professional accomplishments, she has contributed to the community by serving on multiple boards, including Volunteers in Public Schools (VIPS). Additionally, she is board president of PRAL Baton Rouge. Tracy is wired to help others and has organized over 1500 volunteer hours and gatherings to support South Louisiana nonprofits that address critical needs in the community. In her time away from work, she enjoys playing pickup basketball and fishing in Cocodrie with her son and husband. Tracy obtained her bachelor's degree from Nicholls State University, where she studied communications and social sciences.
