When do we need to hire a consultant?
Presented by
Beverly Brooks Thompson, PhD, CFRE
This is a common question among fundraising professionals and one that should be thoughtfully considered before engaging outside counsel. The need to engage a Development/Fundraising consultant depends not only on whether or not your organization already has the specific expertise it needs; but, also, if an outside perspective is needed to help you identify your strengths and/or weaknesses, or if an outsider is needed to help your organization propel forward in a thoughtful and constructive way.
This session will help you understand when to hire a consultant, how to identify what type of counsel you need, the process to engage counsel, and how, when and where to utilize consultants most effectively.
