When:  Aug 13, 2024 from 11:30 AM to 01:00 PM (CT)
The Association of Fundraising Professionals-Greater Baton Rouge and Greater New Orleans chapters will be co-hosting an event during Black Philanthropy Month again this year. This year's Black Philanthropy Month theme will be The Future of Black Giving: What Does It Look Like? to coincide with the national theme of Afro-Futures of Giving. The networking and panel will take place on Tuesday, August 13th beginning at 11:30 am at The Valdry Center for Philanthropy at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA.

Black Philanthropy Month (BPM), founded in 2001 by Dr. Jackie Bouvier Copeland, has been a powerful platform uniting Afro-descendant and allied donors, investors, and leaders to advance Black communities worldwide.

The conversation will be shaped around the future of Black philanthropy. Panelists' insights and ideas will inspire action and help pave the way for a new generation of fundraising professionals, philanthropists, and leaders.
