National Philanthropy Day

2022 National Philanthropy Day Sponsorship Opportunities:

Non-Profit Heart of Gold Table

National Philanthropy Day® acknowledges the entire spectrum of services provided by the non-profit community and recognizes the profound impact that philanthropy has on the fabric of society. And, each year AFP honors individuals and groups who, through their hard work and dedication, have enhanced philanthropy, their communities and the world.

Organizations have the opportunity to give special recognition to a loyal donor or volunteer. The Heart of Gold sponsorship allows organizations to select their own honoree that will receive mention in the program, from the podium and will be listed on the AFP website. It is a wonderful way to say thank you to those who enrich your organization.

National Philanthropy Day

National Philanthropy Day®(NPD) is a special day set aside each November. The purpose of this day is to recognize the great contributions of philanthropy—and those people active in the philanthropic community—to the enrichment of our world.

NPD was originally conceived of and organized by Douglas Freeman in the 1980s, and the first official events held in 1986 after President Reagan signed the official NPD proclamation. The day provides an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of giving and all that it has made possible. NPD celebrates the endless daily contributions individuals and organizations across the world make to countless causes and missions.
