Job announcement: Development Director

The Idaho Conservation League (ICL) is seeking an experienced Development Director to
lead our five-person development team. You will be the lead staff member responsible for
the development and implementation of a multi-channel fundraising plan to meet our
annual operating needs, nearly $3 million currently. In addition, you will work with senior
leadership to create a multi-year fundraising strategy in support of projected organizational
growth over the next 3-5 years.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a strong leader who is organized and able to
incorporate metrics into the development strategy. They should be a good listener who
understands that a donor relationship is about connecting those with capacity to give with
the mission and work that aligns with their values. They will have strong project
management, budgeting and forecasting skills, be familiar with databases (Salesforce
NPSP preferred), and able to think and operate strategically, with a multi-year time horizon
in mind, while attending to day to day details and deadlines

Job announcement: Area Director,  (Idaho)

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is hiring an Area Director for Idaho.

As a part of AFSP’s growing nationwide network of chapters, the Idaho Chapter brings together people from all backgrounds who want to prevent suicide in their communities. Families and friends who have lost someone to suicide, vulnerable individuals, mental health professionals, clergy, educators, students, community/business leaders, and many others energize the chapter.


Responsible for working closely with a network of volunteers to implement AFSP’s fundraising and program initiatives in Idaho.

  • Lead all fundraising and community engagement activities for the area.
  • Implement AFSP Out of the Darkness Community Walks and other approved fundraising within the assigned market, including additional fundraising events .
  • Determine fundraising goals and develop cashflow projects for fundraising events.
  • Work closely with volunteer leadership to solicit sponsorship, giveaways and auction items for events.
  • Responsible for volunteer management, including recruiting, training, assigning and recognizing volunteers within assigned market area
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with community leaders and organizations to promote AFSP’s message, build support for our mission and increase involvement in AFSP events and programs.
