Emerging Professionals Cohort: AFP-HM's Emerging Professionals Group is the ideal space for new and emerging fundraisers to network, expand their connections, and enhance their knowledge of fund development, marketing, and communications. Through a 10-part professional development series, this program is designed for those with 0-3 years of fundraising experience. The 10-part education program blends formal content, student-led discussions, and Q&A to deepen participants' understanding of essential fundraising topics. Sessions cover key areas such as development concepts, special events, annual giving, donor management, major giving, and grants writing, and are led by experts in the field. Additionally, members enjoy networking opportunities, access to AFP-HM programs at a discounted rate, and access to the Emerging Professionals in Philanthropy community. The series culminates in a graduation celebration and leadership-focused event.
