Chapter Scholarships
The Silicon Valley Chapter of AFP Global has over 300 members working to advance philanthropy through advocacy, research, education, and certification programs? We offer a variety of Professional Development Scholarships to you as a member of AFP SV and we offer a partial membership scholarship too!
In 2019, $4,500 in scholarships were awarded to chapter members from organizations throughout our community. Scholarships are provided to help underwrite the cost of trainings, meeting attendance, AFP ICON and to support CFRE and other certification study.
"As a past scholarship recipient and current member of the Professional Development Scholarship Committee, I encourage every member to explore the assortment of scholarship opportunities for professional development." Chelsey Piasentin Souza, CFRE
"I opened my eyes to a gift last fall. I delightedly read the email that stated that I was approved to receive a scholarship to attend the 2018 International AFP Conference! Thank you AFP SV for making that possible. Again you stimulated my passion for fundraising and made me think at a deeper level. Thank you for the gift of education. A gift to last me a lifetime!" —K
