What I Love About AFP: I love that AFP provides an opportunity for fundraisers from nonprofits of all shapes, sizes, and sectors to connect. Working for a medium-sized nonprofit based almost exclusively in Cedar Rapids, it’s always a delight to connect with peers in similar roles in Iowa City, or hear from visionaries from larger organizations, like Chuck Swanson from Hancher Auditorium!

TISHA RITTER

Board Position: Immediate Past-President

AFP Member Since: 2019

Company/Position: Hills Bank - Treasury Management Sales Officer

Why AFP Matters to Me:  AFP is an essential resource for anyone who is working in the nonprofit sector, but particularly Executive Directors and Development Professionals. Many NPOs simply do not have the budget to provide continuing education and support to fundraisers. AFP fills that gap.
