Board culture: it’s one of our sector’s great challenges.
Strong non-profit boards are vital—but remarkably hard to develop. The good news is that the problem doesn’t lie in a shortage of good candidates. The biggest barrier to building a better board is often internal.
Many development professionals are working with boards where fundraising is expected—yet they struggle to turn that expectation into action.
Whether your board is under-involved, over-involved in the wrong things, or detached—we’ll discuss how to identify the “change agents” who can help you build a high-functioning fundraising board.
Whether you are preparing for a campaign or working to meet current fundraising goals, you will leave with practical ideas you can put into practice—because without it, you’re peddling uphill in high gear, into the wind.
