AFP is pleased offer the Chapter Membership Support Scholarship Program to assist chapters with recruiting new members! The 2026 cycle confirmed: Jan–Nov, 30 2026.

Over 80% were first time members
16% were young professional members
This scholarship program is designed to provide access to AFP membership for those who would benefit most from AFP resources but may not currently have the financial ability to join.
Scholarships are intended to support any of the below:
- Young professional
- Those who self-identify as diverse
- Those new to the fundraising profession
- Any fundraiser in need of AFP’s tools, resources, and community
Membership Categories Covered
Each scholarship award covers one full year of membership at both the global and chapter levels. Scholarships may be awarded to individuals in the following member categories:
- Professional
- Associate
- Young Professional
- Small NPO
