The Association of Fundraising Professionals Montana Chapter is a community of fundraising professionals dedicated to advancing ethical and effective philanthropy across the state of Montana. We support individuals and organizations working to strengthen the nonprofit sector through education, collaboration, and advocacy.

Our members represent a wide range of nonprofits, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, and community initiatives- all united by a shared commitment to building stronger communities through philanthropy.

Our goal is to promote high ethical standards in the fundraising profession plus provide a network of support. Through educational opportunities, networking events, and mentoring, we provide members an engaging experience to achieve great results in their fundraising careers.

The Montana Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals proudly presents the 2026 Annual Meeting and Educational Summit, Pathways in Planned Giving: From Simple Gifts to Complex Strategies.
Join us in Billings for this signature statewide gathering as we explore the evolving landscape of planned giving and donor-advised funds while equipping fundraisers with practical, actionable strategies to deepen donor relationships and inspire lasting impact.
Through a series of engaging sessions, attendees will hear from experienced professionals, examine real-world applications, and leave with tools they can immediately put into practice. Whether you're new to planned giving concepts or looking to sharpen your expertise, this Summit offers meaningful learning, valuable connections, and fresh perspectives under Montana's wide-open skies.
In addition to educational sessions, the Summit provides opportunities to connect with fundraising professionals, nonprofit leaders, and philanthropic partners from across Montana.
CFRE Credit
Pending approval, we anticipate that full participation in the 2026 AFP Montana Summit will provide 11 points in Category 1.B – Education toward CFRE International initial certification and/or recertification.
