Bianca Mitchell has over 6 years of nonprofit experience. Over these years she has provided organization, non-profit management, leadership, economic vitality, and program development as the previous Executive Director to the Grants MainStreet Project and currently to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (IPCC). This world class museum and culture center is owned and operated by the 19 Pueblos of New Mexico for the 19 Pueblos of New Mexico. As the Development Officer for the IPCC, Ms. Mitchell supports the mission “to preserve and perpetuate Pueblo culture and to advance understanding by presenting with dignity and respect, the accomplishments and evolving history of the Pueblo people of New Mexico.”
Born and raised on the Pueblo of Acoma, she holds her Pueblo tradition close to her heart and continues to educate visitors about the legacy of resilience, accomplishments, and the living history of the 19 Pueblo Communities of New Mexico. Ms. Mitchell’s focus is planning, organizing, implementing fundraising & development strategies, as well as identifying and cultivating relationships with prospective donors. In doing so, she works closely with the IPCC Museum Team to help meet their goals in fulfillment of the IPCC mission to preserve and perpetuate Pueblo culture.
