This month, AFP-NM will begin an ongoing series of brief, interactive, online sessions on a variety of topics designed to address issues you as fundraisers are facing during this time. Our board has brainstormed the following topics.

AFFINITY GROUPS VIRTUAL MEETINGS
Meetings are being scheduled for April! Watch for invitations, coming soon. Groups include Fundraisers focused on IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility), Rural, Emerging, and Seasoned.

June - To Be Determined!
We will determine the topic and speaker for this program, as well as the format, depending on the expressed needs of our members and potential attendees. Anticipated potential topics could include mental health, crisis planning, and other topics that fundraisers need support around given the current times.
July - Transgender 101 with Adrian Lawyer, Executive Director, Transgender Resource Center of New Mexico
Transgender 101 is one-hour training covers basic terms, definitions, and concepts that nonprofit professionals should be familiar with as they inclusively serve New Mexicans. It also covers how to begin to be a good ally to transgender and gender nonconforming people. TGRCNM advocates for individuals and the transgender communities of New Mexico in many varied settings.

September - Book Club Discussion re: Decolonizing Wealth: Indigenous Wisdom to Heal Divides and Restore Balance by Edgar Villanueva
