Donors are the lifeblood of Souls Harbour. Their generosity circulates through our Mission, bringing hope and healing from the burdens of poverty, mental illness, and addiction.
Each day across Nova Scotia, we serve over 1000 meals and shelter 100 men, women, and children who struggle with food and housing insecurity. Additionally, we work with men and women in residential addictions recovery and have seen many graduate and move on to find a home of their own and a job at our social enterprise, Mission Mart. All the while, our #SoulsMobile rolls throughout Halifax working with those who are unable to get to our facilities.
As part of the donor care team, the Donor Care Specialist builds a culture of philanthropy by emphasizing gratitude and generosity, and keeping our donors connected to the cause. You are the vital link between donors and the ministry, showcasing them as partners creating a reality for our guests and residents that is filled with welcome, hope, and dignity.
