AFP Nova Scotia invites you to help us celebrate National Philanthropy Day!
On November 15, 2021 we recognize National Philanthropy Day, a day where we celebrate philanthropy in all of its forms - giving, volunteering, and highlighting accomplishments both large or small.
This year AFP Nova Scotia has selected a theme of Young Professionals and Emerging Leaders. Partnering with Trellis, our presenting sponsor, and Blackbaud Inc., our partner sponsor, we will be hosting an in-person panel discussion on the topic: recruitment, retention and the leadership gap.
Moderated by Sarah Lyon, the panel will bring together representatives at varying career levels, with different perspectives and connection to the sector. The discussion will include a focus on the leadership gap, recruitment & retention, and supporting and developing our leaders of tomorrow.
- Sarah Lyon, CFRE, Fundraising Professional - Moderator
- Liz Struijf-Mandishora, CFRE, Director, Development & Engagement, United Way Halifax
