Funding Opportunities

AFP Nova Scotia Chapter Scholarship Opportunities for Fundraising Professionals

The AFP Nova Scotia Chapter is committed to awarding grant and scholarship educational opportunities for fundraising professionals in our community, for both members and non-members.

Scholarships and grants up to a value of $1,000 are available to chapter members and fundraising professionals to help defray costs to attend professional development opportunities.

Application Deadline:  Wednesday, March 15, 2023

To be considered, applicant submissions are evaluated by the AFP Nova Scotia Chapter Scholarship Committee. Assessment criteria include financial need, commitment to principles of inclusion, diversity, equity and access (IDEA), and the candidate’s contribution and commitment to the sector. Applicants must be committed to seek other sources of funding to supplement any funding granted through this program. Additional opportunities are listed below.
