Session Description

The AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course offers a complete overview of the development function, featuring the most current information and techniques. This 16 hour intensive program will provide an overview of skills, techniques, and program components for individuals with 0 to 4 years of fundraising experience. This is a two-day course (8:00 am to 5:30 pm each day).

Module 2: Developing an Integrated Fundraising Program          
Module 3: Marketing for Ongoing Success 
Module 4: Building and Sustaining Relationships 
Module 5: Securing the Gift 
Module 6: Volunteers - Partners in Fundraising 
Module 7: Management and Accountability

The AFP Fundamentals of Fundraising Course is presented through active learning, case studies, and the encouragement of participant dialogue. The Course fee includes a course manual, instruction and a lunch and snacks each day. The course is taught/facilitated by a team of experienced fundraising professionals all of whom hold the CFRE designation and have a varied background and experience.
