The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Saskatoon Chapter hosted its annual National Philanthropy Day Luncheon on Thursday, November 14th, 2024, at Prairieland Park. The event was a resounding success, bringing together over 400 community leaders, philanthropists, and nonprofit professionals to celebrate the power of giving.
We celebrated the remarkable individuals and groups who have made significant impacts in our community. In the Youth in Philanthropy category, we recognized 8 incredible young individuals and groups who demonstrated extraordinary commitment to community service and charitable work. Additionally, the Honoured Supporter category highlighted 29 exceptional individuals and organizations whose contributions have been transformative in addressing community needs and driving positive change. These awards serve to acknowledge and inspire continued philanthropic efforts across diverse age groups and sectors, recognizing those who selflessly dedicate their time, resources, and passion to making a meaningful difference in society.
