The 700+ members of the Greater Houston Chapter represent a cross-section of professionals who serve the diverse nonprofit organizations of our community. AFP-GHC advances ethical and effective fundraising by training over 2,500 individuals at all levels of their career in the art and science of fundraising. The Greater Houston Chapter is a national association 10 Star recipient – a designation earned by very few Chapters within our national organization. It assures you that we are committed to ethical fundraising at the highest level. The AFP-GHC Chapter is also recognized as an IDEA Champion, meaning our chapter is committed to the principles of inclusion, diversity, equity, and access in the fundraising profession. AFP-GHC, because of the size and variety of its membership, represents the largest and smallest shops in our region with impressive purchasing power and a donor base of the wealthiest and most civically engaged citizens in our community.
