National Philanthropy Day (NPD) is held annually in November to celebrate individuals and organizations for their philanthropic efforts - giving, volunteering and charitable engagement. The 2024 Distinguished Volunteer Recognition event, sponsored by the AFP Tri-State Chapter, was held on Friday, November 15 at the Main Ballroom at the George Washington Hotel in Winchester, VA.
In addition to Distinguished Volunteers nominated by area non-profits, the AFP Tri-State Chapter also honors the following: Individual Philanthropist of the Year Award and Corporate Philanthropist of the Year Award.
