Why did you join AFP?

I joined AFP to further envelop myself in cultures of philanthropy. The opportunity to network with other likeminded, philanthropic-focused individuals that want to leave the world in a better place than they found it.

What is the most exciting thing about the work you do at your current organization?

As a fourth generation Sooner, I am motivated every day to enable our alumni to make lasting change for the future of our state. Staying donor centered and ensuring that their sense of altruism is lasting and attributed to the institution and not a specific DVO. How do you spend your free time when you’re not working?

I very much enjoy keeping up with the growth of OKC and the local communities. I try to keep a finger on the pulse of developments and plans by being involved in the community. My board involvement with Loveworks Leadership in Norman, OK has been incredibly rewarding as we recently had our soft opening of our new building in the heart of downtown Norman. You'll most likely find me out and about trying the new restaurants and bars in OKC finding the best food and libations! I am an avid Thunder fan that attends as many home games as my calendar and wallet will allow. I also, unfortunately, allow the outcome of a game played on Saturday by our student athletes dictate the status of my mental wellbeing for the rest of the week!
