    EVERY KUNG YOUTH, AT HOME AND AWAY,
    Greetings for the morning.
    FINAL REPORT FOR OPERATION ONE HOE AND ONE CUTLASS, PROJECT 002/2023
    As we commemorate the resurrection of Christ, may we feel it important to prioritize our togetherness as Kung youth. We decided to change the dynamics of our fundraising last year by carrying on two projects. therefore, we launched the KU. YA MULTIPURPOSE HALL PROJECT (PROJECT 001/2023) and OPERATION ONE HOE, ONE CUTLASS (PROJECT 002/2023) initiated by the Nahtum of KU. YA with slogan '' rain de up'. We submitted a report on project 001/2023, which consisted of purchasing the land at Tiko, prior to the start of January 2024. Consequently, project 002/2023, also referred to as "operation one hoe one cutlas," will be the center of our reporting.
    The goal of this project was to enable every Kung woman and man to feed their family without needing to wait for assistance from outside. It was relaunched in late January 2024 as an open invitation to all Kung youths to contribute little bit so that we may all work together to improve the condition of our community. Many youths responded to this call by giving more than we initially anticipated, demonstrating their desire for a better community. A team was promptly formed by the EXCO to oversee the project while the project support was in progress. The members of the team were;
    → Engr. NDI CHEM MVOGO ERIC JOSE Rep (KUNG YOUTHS' ASSOCIATION (KU. YA)
    → Mme ANDEM CLEMETINE FOIN project (initiator/follow up)
    → MME CHOH ELVIRA (PROJECT ADMINISTRATORS)
    → MME NJI CLAUDETTE LAI (PROJECT ADMINISTRATORS)
    → Engr. KAI PASCAR ALIBASSA (Program Advisory Committee)
    → MR CHE JUDE BUH (Finance and strategy thinking Committee)
    We were in touch with the people on ground through the follow;
    → MME MUH MARTHA NDUM (Women Representee)
    → MR TEM CELETINE KAH (KU. YA Home Branch Representee)
    From the first data collection, we had 73 men and 101 women. We utilized this report to assess the budget. Following multiple inquiries from Nahtum of KU. YA, the list was revised to include 106 women and 80 males.
    As you will see from the video, our community came together on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, to take home the items we were able to gather thanks to your efforts. All of the youths who donated felt that day was very wonderful. Everyone went home happy and appreciative, despite the fact that there wasn't enough cutlass for three men and two women.
    In addition, we had to arrange an appointment with the supplier in order to wrap up the task at hand. The finance committee returned for additional help because of this. The following are the data that was obtained from the finance desk:
    TOTAL BUDGET RAISE=632,675 FCFA
    HOES: 106X3900=413,900 FCFA
    CUTLASS: 80X2500 =200000 FCFA
    CUTLASS FILING: LS=10000 FCFA
    CHARGES= 6,200 FCFA
    BALANCE=2575 FCFA
    Finally, the aspect of growing our community is a collective issue and youths most by all means stand that gap. Ku. YA needs us all to change the community and make it a better place for all. Let's reflect within us and ask this question, did I put a smile on the any mothers face? We thank all the great youths of kung for their relentless efforts in making things possible. During this Easter season, as we translate our burdens to Christ Jesus, may the Lord's peace be with every one of us.
    Happy Easter
